A balanced dual-purpose hop, with moderate alpha acid content and sweet, fruity aromas. It has a mild character and imparts soft flavors of fruit, flowers, cedar, and green tea to the beer. Challenger is often found in English Pale Ales, but can be used in a wide range of beer styles.
