The Kirschen 1072020 chisel has a pointed, offset blade, providing more clearance beneath the handle. The pointed tip makes it easier to work in corners, such as in drawers and cabinets, while its compact design is useful in tight, hard-to-reach spaces. It is suitable for working on flat surfaces, assembly, restoration, fine work, surface finishing and removing glue residue.

The polished carbon tool steel blade has no grooves and features bevelled sides. Two-thirds of its working surface is hardened, while the hornbeam handle is reinforced with a metal ferrule and connecting ring.
