Doulton HIP Under Sink Water Filter with Ultracarb 0.5μm Doulton Replacement

The DOULTON ULTRACARB 0.5 micron replacement filter is included. This is a filter that takes up minimal space under the kitchen counter and is made from high-quality materials. The replacement filter consists of filtering ceramic materials on the outside and a solid activated carbon filter on the inside. The unit is made from food-grade plastic and comes with international certifications.

Connection is very easy and quick under the kitchen counter thanks to the built-in Doulton Push Fit quick connectors. Replacing the filter cartridge is easy and can be done without using a wrench. Water is processed in 4 stages:

• 1st stage: Particles and bacteria larger than 0.5μm are trapped on the outer surface of the filter.
• 2nd stage: Inside the activated carbon, silver inhibits the growth of bacteria (bacteriostatic action).
• 3rd stage: The solid activated carbon (Carbon Block) removes chlorine and volatile organic compounds.
• 4th stage: Thanks to the ion exchange resin, the filter traps heavy metals such as lead.

Maintenance and filter replacement:

• It is important to wear gloves or wash your hands thoroughly before and after maintenance procedures.
• The removal and replacement of the filter cartridge should be done with the water supply turned off, by unscrewing the body from the base.
• The replacement filter is unscrewed from the head and can be either replaced or cleaned.
• Rinse the replacement filter and unit housing with cold water only and use a cloth for cleaning.
