Very good in sound etc etc... not to bore you.
However, there is a huge problem that I didn't have with the previous model (WF-1000XM4).
On the bike, just trekking in the city at speeds of 20-40km/h—which is nothing crazy—you can hear the wind a lot and it comes through incredibly strong. With my old WF-1000XM4, when I set the NC to OFF there was no problem at all, but with these, in no mode can you avoid the loud wind being heard inside. I suspect they've messed up with the grills they've put in two spots on the earbud to get better monitoring of external sounds. Grills + wind at speed = noise.
For those of you who do activities or sports where you pick up speed and can't avoid the breeze... think again.
And to be more helpful for those who either have the XM5 or an older model like I have the XM4 and are wondering whether to get the XM6 or not:
Compared to the XM4, with which I have several years of experience in all conditions, the NC is definitely better, without meaning that the XM4 didn't do a good job. If you work in noisy environments, travel often, then NC is a VERY important matter and a good upgrade might be worth it so you get to work or home with a little less headache from the airplane.
I saw something a friend mentioned here and I had almost forgotten about it. I NEVER talked on the phone with the XM4 because very early on I got tired of people telling me "you don't sound good," so I just didn't use them for calls (when I'm in the car, the phone connects there, when I'm not, I usually don't do anything that would make it useful to have my hands free so I need handsfree, so it never really bothered me). I want to see in practice if this has changed with the XM6, I imagine it has.
As for sound quality, I think there has been an upgrade BUT, if you have an older model it doesn't mean you'll get a crazy upgrade. You can listen to great music with the XM4, and I imagine with the XM5 as well.

Υπάρχει ένα τεράστιο πρόβλημα όμως που δεν είχα με παλιότερο μοντέλο (WF-1000XM4).
Στο ποδήλατο, απλό trekking στην πόλη με ταχύτητες 20-40km/h -που δεν ειναι κατι τρελό- ακούγεται πολύ ο αέρας και περνάει απίστευτα δυνατά μέσα. Στα παλιά μου WF-1000XM4, όταν έβαζα το NC στο OFF δεν υπήρχε κανένα πρόβλημα, σε αυτά εδω σε κανένα mode δεν μπορείς να αποφύγεις τον δυνατό αέρα να ακούγεται μεσα. Υποψιάζομαι οτι έχουν κάνει πατάτα με τα grills που έχουν βάλεi σε 2 σημεία του ακουστικού για να έχουν καλύτερο monitoring των εξωτερικών ήχων. Grills + αέρας με ταχύτητα = θόρυβος.
'Οσοι κάνετε δραστηριότητες ή αθλήματα που πιάνετε ταχύτητα και δεν μπορείτε να αποφύγεται το αεράκι .....σκεφτείτε το ξανά.
Και για να ειμαι περισσότερο χρήσιμος για κάποιους που είτε εχουν τα XM5 είτε κάποιο παλιότερο όπως εχω εγω τα XM4 και σκέφτονται αν θα πρέπει να πάρουν τα ΧΜ6 ή οχι.
Σε σχέση με τα XM4 που έχω εμπειρία αρκετών ετών σε όλες τις συνθήκες το NC είναι σίγουρα καλύτερο, χωρίς να σημαίνει οτι τα ΧΜ4 δεν έκαναν καλή δουλειά. Αν δουλευετε σε χώρους με φασαρία, ταξιδευετε συχνά τότε το NC ειναι ΠΟΛΥ σημαντική υπόθεση και μια καλή αναβάθμιση ίσως αξίζει για να φτάνεις στη δουλειά ή στο σπίτι σου με λίγο λιγότερο πονοκέφαλο απο το αεροπλάνο.
Είδα κάτι που αναφέρει ένας φίλος εδω και το είχα σχεδόν ξεχάσει. Δεν μιλούσα ΠΟΤΕ στο κινητό με τα XM4 γιατί απο πολύ νωρίς είχα κουραστεί να μου λένε "δεν ακούγεσαι καλά", και απλά δεν τα χρησιμοποιούσα για κλήσεις (όταν ειμαι στο αμάξι συνδέεται το κινητό εκεί, όταν δεν ειμαι δεν κάνω συνήθως κάτι που θα βοηθούσε να έχω τα χέρια ελέυθερα για να εχω την ανάγκη handsfree, οπότε και δεν με ενόχλησε ιδιαίτερα ποτέ). Θέλω λίγο να το δώ στην πράξη αν με τα XM6 έχει αλλάξει αυτό, φαντάζομαι ναι.
Απο ποιότητα ήχου, θεώρω οτι έχει γίνει αναβαθμιση ΑΛΛΑ, αν εχετε κάποιο παλιότερο μοντέλο δεν σημαίνει ότι θα κανετε τρελή αναβάθμιση, Μουσικάρες ακους και με τα ΧΜ4, και με τα XM5 φαντάζομαι.
