This review is about the colour: Silver

Sound, features and noise cancelling - there is nothing better out there.
    - 1 star for the design and comfort issue. Not as good as the competition unfortunately. With other eartips and a bit of adjustment you can spend about an hour without noticing them.

For anyone coming from Samsung headphones and especially from the series 3, whether pro or regular, it's like going to another planet. The noise cancellation is out of this world. It does what it promises. Now, regarding the price, no headphone from any company is worth that much money. I got them to cancel out the noise at my work and because I didn't want something bulky or earplugs, so I bought them. For everyone else who moves in normal environments, it's not worth it. The more affordable ones do the job as well.

My experience with the Sony WF-1000XM6 after one week
Having used all the previous models (M3, M4, M5), the new M6 left me with mixed feelings.
On the positive side, their sound is truly impressive "out of the box," without needing to mess with settings. The ANC (noise cancellation) is even better than the M5, although the difference is not huge. What really saved me, though, are the microphones. Finally, Sony solved the problem we had with previous models and now calls are crystal clear. Also, their app for customizing sound and ANC remains top-notch and very useful.
On the negative side (hence the 4 stars), their design disappointed me. They tire me very easily and after an hour of use they start to become uncomfortable in the ear, which is important if you want them for many hours. The battery is at the same level as before, so don't expect crazy differences there.

Conclusion: If you don't have another model from the series and want the best ANC and sound on the market, buy them with your eyes closed. But if you already have the M5, in my opinion, it's not worth upgrading to the M6.

Very good in sound etc etc... not to bore you.
However, there is a huge problem that I didn't have with the previous model (WF-1000XM4).
On the bike, just trekking in the city at speeds of 20-40km/h—which is nothing crazy—you can hear the wind a lot and it comes through incredibly strong. With my old WF-1000XM4, when I set the NC to OFF there was no problem at all, but with these, in no mode can you avoid the loud wind being heard inside. I suspect they've messed up with the grills they've put in two spots on the earbud to get better monitoring of external sounds. Grills + wind at speed = noise.
For those of you who do activities or sports where you pick up speed and can't avoid the breeze... think again.

And to be more helpful for those who either have the XM5 or an older model like I have the XM4 and are wondering whether to get the XM6 or not:
Compared to the XM4, with which I have several years of experience in all conditions, the NC is definitely better, without meaning that the XM4 didn't do a good job. If you work in noisy environments, travel often, then NC is a VERY important matter and a good upgrade might be worth it so you get to work or home with a little less headache from the airplane.
I saw something a friend mentioned here and I had almost forgotten about it. I NEVER talked on the phone with the XM4 because very early on I got tired of people telling me "you don't sound good," so I just didn't use them for calls (when I'm in the car, the phone connects there, when I'm not, I usually don't do anything that would make it useful to have my hands free so I need handsfree, so it never really bothered me). I want to see in practice if this has changed with the XM6, I imagine it has.
As for sound quality, I think there has been an upgrade BUT, if you have an older model it doesn't mean you'll get a crazy upgrade. You can listen to great music with the XM4, and I imagine with the XM5 as well.
