The digital blood pressure monitor Sanity Basic Standard MD 5940 is designed to measure systolic and diastolic blood pressure in adults. The device uses a non-invasive and oscillometric method that detects blood flow through the brachial artery to measure blood pressure and pulse. This allows for quick and easy measurements without the use of a stethoscope.

The results obtained with the Sanity Basic Standard blood pressure monitor are equivalent to measurements taken by a trained person using a mechanical blood pressure monitor and stethoscope.

How to take a measurement?
  • Tightly wrap the cuff around the upper arm, with the cable on the inner side of the arm. The cuff is correctly positioned when you can easily insert one finger between the arm and the cuff.
  • Sit comfortably with the forearm resting on a flat surface. Remember that the cuff should be aligned with the heart.
  • Turn on the device. The measurement will start automatically and the result will appear on the display shortly. If an arrhythmia is detected, a heart-shaped icon will appear on the screen.

  • Connect the power supply to an electrical source of 110 - 240 V, 50/60 Hz;
