The magnetic particle separator ICMA 746 1" is a specialized device that protects heating and cooling systems, removing magnetic and non-magnetic particles such as rust and dirt. Features and Specifications:
  • Designed to protect vital system components, such as circulators and heat exchangers.
  • Connection size: 1".
  • Filtration degree: 5 μm.
  • Maximum operating pressure: 10 bar.
  • Maximum operating temperature: 110°C.
  • Magnetic field: The magnetic cassette has a magnetic field strength of 10,500 Gauss.
  • Working principle: Removes impurities (mainly sand and rust) through three mechanisms: mechanical filtration, magnetic field, and impurity separation chamber.
  • Installation: It is recommended to install in the return line of the heating circuit, before the boiler or pump, and it must always be installed vertically.
  • Cleaning: Features a removable magnetic cassette and a spherical drain valve for easy cleaning without disassembling the main unit from the system.
