If the book was called "History of Economics", it would be a good book. Each chapter starts with the beginning of each economic term, often without even explaining the term itself.

Economics in simple words, it definitely is not.

Excellent book that in ~330 pages explains complex economic and non-economic terms and ideas in understandable and thought-provoking words. This series is a gem for us self-taught individuals!!!

If you don't want to get an academic textbook on economics, prefer this! It reads like a coffee table book, it's both an album and a book.
*If you are now interested in really learning some basic economics, you should get a regular textbook. The best, most interesting and easy-to-read ones are by Alex Tabarrok and Tyler Cowen, which have recently been translated into Greek!
