Maze of Muertos is the latest addition to the world of expansions for the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game, inspired by the anime. It includes many new cards, some of which are based on cards from the anime and manga. Among the new cards are Darkuriboh, Dark Magician of Destruction, and Timaeus the United Magical Dragon, as well as Illusion Gate, Chronicle Sorceress, and Uzuhime the Manifested Mikanko. The Maze of Muertos set also revives old favorite cards as well as recently popular cards as an extra surprise. At the same time, it includes a new and updated collection of Zombies, Spells, and Traps, such as new versions of Pumpking, Ectoplasmic Fortification, and Deadly Zombie Breath, bringing them into the modern era. Each booster pack contains 7 cards: 1 foil card per pack and 6 rare cards per pack. Each of the Maze of Muertos displays contains 24 booster packs.
