    A great disappointment, this machine… within 6 months the cylinder that rotates and collects the dust got stuck. In the end, an internal plastic part had broken and had blocked the rotation. The handling of the vacuum cleaner on our part was impeccable and does not justify what happened. It is the second Xiaomi vacuum cleaner that has broken, and very quickly at that; we will take it in for repair, but personally I would not buy vacuum cleaners from this company again in general

    I have bought both the G20 and this G30, and I have had the G30 for 1 year. Although I love Xiaomi very much, unfortunately the vacuum cleaner is rubbish in terms of durability. It does its job just fine, it will make your life easier, especially the attachment for pets is something else. But within six months the main part of the vacuum cleaner has broken and it does not turn when you twist it to the right. Since I had similar issues with the G20 (which in the end Skroutz refunded my money for), I am tired of taking it to ACS stores to return the G30. They want the whole vacuum cleaner even though only 1 part is broken; try packing 8 parts, try taking it there, try getting Xiaomi to reply to you in a month.

    I’ve owned it for 2 and a half months with daily use in a 60 sq m house with a dog, and I have to say the following. This vacuum has made my life much easier. I keep it almost permanently on auto and it cleans everything effortlessly. With every vacuum I had before, especially after the dog came into the house, I had a problem with its short hair. That problem no longer exists. It cleans everything with ease. I’ve also done carpets (both classic and thick shaggy ones) at turbo speed and even there it had no problem. It just needed one or two extra passes to pick up 85-90% of the hair. Like all cordless stick vacuums, it has the issue of battery life. With the right mode it can handle even large houses, but always with the risk of running out. In auto mode it manages the battery very well. Personally, with 15-20 minutes I use 20-30% of the battery to clean the whole house corner to corner. The only negative, of course, is the battery change, since it is built in. My rating doesn’t change because, for comparable specs, a Dyson vacuum costs 700-800€ and the battery still wouldn’t last for hours. Based on purchase cost/performance, it’s a very fair buy, even with the battery being its "thorn." If needed after years, it can be replaced directly by Xiaomi.

    It is good at suction, but it is not suitable for a large apartment (174 sq m) as a main vacuum because of the battery life. This applies to all rechargeable stick vacuums, but in this one the battery is not replaceable, which is also its biggest disadvantage compared to the competition.

With the right mode it can handle even large houses, but always with the risk of running out. In auto mode it manages the battery very well. Personally, with 15-20 minutes I use 20-30% of the battery to clean the whole house corner to corner. The only negative, of course, is the battery change, since it is built in. My rating doesn’t change because, for comparable specs, a Dyson vacuum costs 700-800€ and the battery still wouldn’t last for hours. Based on purchase cost/performance, it’s a very fair buy, even with the battery being its "thorn." If needed after years, it can be replaced directly by Xiaomi.
