It was the only option for me since I made the purchase online. They have an inner lining, like a film, on the side in the arch area. This makes the shoe stable, but as someone who suffers from swelling, I feel that it bothers me, it squeezes me. I would like them to be lighter. The new model does not have this reinforcement and maybe I should have preferred it. Otherwise, they are excellent shoes and their price is attractive.
