The RAM-HOL-TABL17U consists of a rear plate with a spring, custom supports, and a locking mechanism. The spring design makes it easy to load and unload the iPad while keeping it secure during movement. The edges of the supports are designed to optimize the iPad's functionality, allowing access to sound, USB, power, and other ports so that the iPad can be used as intended.
The locking system enables quick and secure attachment of the base, keeping the iPad safe and resistant to theft. Four screws and nuts are included for attaching the base to any RAM components or mounts that feature the universal AMPS hole pattern. The rear plate is interchangeable with supports of various sizes, making it compatible with many tablet models. The new removable supports are the only components that require purchase, as they connect to the rear plate to hold your new tablet.
The Tab-Lock mount is compatible with any tablet that fits within the dimensions listed below. It is important to check your tablet's dimensions when determining the overall size. Note: The product includes only the base. The case is not included.
