  • Normally it would be a 4/5 due to the longevity of the fragrance, but in all other essential aspects it touches perfection. As the previous reviewer said, Versace is the most value-for-money company and at the same time one of the top names in the market. To be a bit dramatic, I'll say that it "outshines" almost all the other top Italian, French, and even the one Spanish brand. In terms of value for money, only Lalique, Salvatore Ferragamo, and MontBlanc surpass it, but they don't have the wide and top-quality range that Versace offers in every category, as the very experienced previous reviewer rightly said. My other favorite is of course Lalique, simply because it is the most unique. It has managed to be copied or impossible to copy by other companies due to its very distinctive fragrances, while its prices are incredibly low for perfumes that are on the same level as Tom Ford or Creed... I won't talk about Arabic brands because, while honest, almost all of them are copies of other top brands.

So, Oud Noir, the top Oud cologne of all, maybe even better than Tom Ford's equivalent, and during sales you can find it at a fifth of Tom Ford's price. Classy, unique, and rich in notes, like all of the 6-7 top class fragrances that Versace has.

Amazing scent, Versace is the most VFM in my opinion. This particular one is clearly a winter masculine fragrance, it reminds me of Oud Wood but without its complexity and nuances. Longevity is 4-5 hours. With 3 fragrances from Versace, one can cover all seasons decently. Oud Noir for winter nights, Homme for the office, Dylan Blue for spring and summer.

Funny duration and not at all distinctive. It's like wearing nothing.
