Measuring Instructions

  • When the window has a recess (internal installation): Measure the full width inside the recess and subtract 0.5–1 cm from each side to allow for smooth movement and prevent rubbing of the sides.
  • Measure the full height inside the recess and subtract 1–2 cm from the bottom so that the bottom guide/curb does not touch the windowsill.
  • Check the recess depth. Wooden blinds have a larger profile; ensure there is enough depth for the brackets and the tilt of the slats, especially if there is a handle or screen.

These are the final dimensions needed for the manufacture of wooden blinds.

  • For a standard window (external installation/overlap): Add 5–10 cm to the window width on each side for adequate overlap and better blackout.
  • For the window height, add 7–12 cm at the top to comfortably attach brackets/heads. Note: Ensure there are no embedded wires at the mounting points.
  • At the bottom, add the desired amount for aesthetic purposes, usually 5–10 cm. If there is an obstacle (e.g., radiator), take this into account.

Notes:

  • The shade on the screen may differ from the actual wood due to screen settings and natural variations of the material.
  • Slats made of natural wood in widths of 25/50 mm. Mechanism and accessories available in matching shades.
