Vertical Blinds - Vertical Shades
First of all… How to Measure
A characteristic of vertical blinds is that they are ideal for applications with high ceilings.
When the window has a recess:
- Measure the entire width inside the recess and subtract a small gap of 0.5-1 cm on each side.
- Measure the entire height inside the recess and subtract 2-3 cm from the bottom to prevent the blinds from touching.
These are the final dimensions needed for the construction of the vertical blinds.
For a Simple Window:
- Add 5-10 cm to the width of the window on each side for adequate overlap.
- Add 5-10 cm to the height of the window at the top for the brackets of the blinds.
- Add usually 5-10 cm at the bottom of the window.
If there is an inward-opening window, account for more additional width on that side.
For Balcony Doors:
The same as for a simple window, with one difference: from the total height, subtract 2-3 cm from the bottom so the blinds do not touch the floor.
Blind Direction:
- The blinds are gathered on the opposite side where the window handle is located.
- The control is also placed on the same side.
Notes:
- The color shade may vary slightly from that of the fabric due to different display color reproduction.
- A free sample of the blind is available.
- They offer controlled light flow into the space.
- Made from synthetic polyester material with partial blackout capabilities.
- The mechanism and components are available in white.
Vertical blinds are a practical choice for work environments and homes, providing light control and privacy with minimal maintenance.
