The Firesco JT-Z2010 natural gas detector monitors the presence of natural gas, such as methane (CH₄), indoors. It uses a semiconductor sensor with a lifespan of up to 5 years and activates audible and visual alarms when it detects a leak. The self-diagnostic system checks the sensor and internal circuits, while a yellow indicator light signals a malfunction.

Designed for installation on indoor walls, it is suitable for kitchens with gas cooktops, boiler rooms, areas with gas appliances or piping, and school chemistry and physics laboratories. Its operation can be checked using the test button.
