I do not desire a paradise.
I longed for the fleeting that defines transitions,
the minimal that pierces the silent
like a razor,
tearing the carcass like a bird's claw.
I did not envy the sea.
A sip of old spirits, kept in the cellar,
the sharp and bloody, I asked for.
I desired the little with the greatest strength.
But I did not attain it.
I received the most, the infinite, which drowned me,
which fell like thick fog
and blurred,
covered the days,
which tied me to the four stakes of the earth.
This is how I wait.
