The GDS vehicle mount for Zebra ET40 and ET45 8" tablets features GDS technology for data and charging capabilities, as well as a lock to prevent theft. It allows connection of up to two peripheral devices, maintaining device charging through the pogo pin contacts when mounted. Power is supplied via the connected USB Type-C port, while peripheral support is provided by the built-in dual USB Type-A cable.
The mount enables side scanning of the tablet and supports accessories such as the Zebra Expansion Back and PowerPack battery. It is compatible with RAM AMPS 4-hole mounts in sizes C and D, and with VESA 75 mm x 75 mm mounts for dual-arm setups. Additionally, it has a built-in 2-hole mounting plate compatible with RAM 2-hole mounts for attaching extra devices like a phone or other portable equipment.
