Aquacel Extra dressings are hydrophilic, hydro-polymer and hydrocolloid. They are oxygenated cellulose in the form of woven gauze. Upon contact with wound fluids, the Aquacel dressing instantly transforms into a transparent compact gelatinous dressing.

  • High absorbency (seven times more absorbent than regular gauze).
  • Maintains the wound surface moist, essential for creating ideal healing conditions.
  • Promotes angiogenesis and epithelialization.
