Description

The SGTT alcohol meter is used to measure the alcohol content of spirits such as brandy, pálinka, țuică and vodka. Read the scale on the stem below the meniscus when the instrument is floating freely in the liquid. For an accurate measurement, the liquid should be at approximately 20 °C, as temperature affects its density and the depth to which the instrument sinks.

Before and after use, wash the meter and graduated vessel with warm water and dry them with a clean, soft cloth. Dried alcohol and sugar residue can affect measurement accuracy. To use, fill the transparent vessel to approximately 80–90% capacity and gently place the meter in the liquid.
