The X-Sense XC0C-iR standalone carbon monoxide detector connects via Wi-Fi to the X-Sense Home Security app and sends real-time alerts for alarms, warnings, low battery and possible malfunctions. During an alarm, the app displays the CO concentration in ppm and the alert history. The sensor can also be shared with other household members. A 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi connection is required for smart features.

The electrochemical sensor supports two-stage alerts and sounds an audible alarm when it detects a dangerous CO concentration. The backlit LCD displays the current concentration, while LED indicators show the operating status, alarm, battery problems or a malfunction. The alarm can be temporarily silenced using the Test/Silence button or through the app, provided the situation has been checked and deemed safe.

The device can be placed on a flat surface or mounted on a wall using the included mounting hardware. It is powered by a replaceable CR123A battery and has a lifespan of up to 10 years.
