The Tech-Air® MX is an innovative, standalone airbag system specifically designed for motocross and supercross. Integrated into a lightweight chest protector, the system provides advanced upper body protection while maintaining full freedom of movement and exceptional comfort.

  • Airbag Detection & Deployment: Advanced collision detection algorithm based on thousands of hours of MX & SX data.
  • Full airbag deployment in approximately 40 ms.
  • Single-use gas inflation (easily replaceable where permitted).
  • Complete coverage of shoulders, chest, and back.
  • Protection x4 greater than passive armor upon activation.
  • CE airbag certification: Category II – EN1621-4:2013.

Sensors & Technology:

  • Three accelerometers and three gyroscopes in the ECU unit.
  • Securely integrated ECU housing within the back protector.
  • Operates autonomously – without external sensors.
  • Works in temperatures from -10°C to +50°C.
  • ECE R10 04 certification for electromagnetic stability and reliability.
  • Software upgrades via the Tech-Air® app.
