Gregory Deva 70 Women's Hiking Backpack - Garnet Red is ideal for longer hikes. The backpack offers excellent fit thanks to an adjustable shoulder harness panel, fine-tuned strap adjustment, wide hip belt, and a ventilated mesh panel that fits well to the body.
The Gregory Deva 70 features the adjustable FreeFloat A3 carry system, which ensures close contact with the back while maintaining high breathability and efficient moisture wicking. This is achieved through the AirCushion panel made of special 3D mesh, which provides excellent airflow and a better fit. The use of mesh only, without foam, significantly reduces the use of synthetic materials in production.
The model is built with a durable steel alloy frame. The back panel includes a glass and HDPE support plate. The shoulder straps, hip belt, and back panel are finished with Polygiene Stays Fresh treatment to slow down unpleasant odors. The shoulder harness panel is adjustable and the shoulder straps feature a pivoting design where they attach to the back panel, adapting to different shoulder widths. In addition, there are stabilizing straps available above the shoulder straps.
For maximum comfort, the backpack features a wide 3D hip belt with wings that move independently with the hips. The hip belt can be extended with adjustable side inserts. The vertically and horizontally adjustable chest straps provide further stabilization. The shoulder straps, hip belt, and lumbar area are made from EVA foam covered with soft, breathable mesh. A silicone element at the bottom ensures better placement on the back.
The Gregory Deva 70 offers a spacious main compartment divided into two sections, accessible from the top, bottom, and front. The top portion secures with a lid that has two external pockets and one internal pocket. There is also a pocket for a hydration system (the hydration reservoir is sold separately) with a SpeedClip compatible with Gregory 3D Hydro water reservoirs. The backpack includes a mesh side pocket and an additional bottle pocket on the other side. The front features an elastic pocket secured with a durable clasp and is flanked by large zippered pockets.
This hiking backpack also includes two spacious pockets on the hip belt for storing a phone or GPS. Double loops on the front panel allow for attaching trekking poles or ice axes. The shoulder strap features the Sunglass QuickStow system for safe placement of sunglasses. The side compression straps can also be used for attaching lighter items. The lower straps are designed for attaching gear such as tents. Practical side loops for gear near the hip belt are included. A rain cover is included.
