The Selfish Giant

The selfish giant wants to enjoy his beautiful garden all by himself. On the day he returns to his castle –after a long journey– he angrily chases away the children he finds playing in it. From that moment on, however, winter freezes all the trees and flowers, until the day the giant receives the unexpected kiss of a small boy. Then everything changes… A beautiful fairy tale that shows us that all the good things in the world are worth nothing when our heart is empty and frozen.

When the happy prince was alive, nothing disturbed his carefree life. But one day the prince stopped living. Then the rulers of the city made him a beautiful statue of gold and precious stones and placed it at the highest point of the city. Thus, the prince began to see from above all the misery and pain of his people. When at some point a swallow landed at his feet to rest, he begged it to stay with him as long as needed to help the people of his city, easing their pain and suffering. How will he achieve this? And what will be the price for both him and the swallow?
