The HPA MDSP-48 is a professional audio processor for broadcast and PA applications, designed to optimize sound systems for concerts, events, or permanent installations. It features 4 inputs and 8 balanced XLR outputs, providing precise management of multiple speaker and subwoofer configurations.

Design

Using the provided PC control software, the user has access to a clear and user-friendly interface for configuring the PA system. Tools such as equalization (EQ), high-pass / low-pass filters, delays, and other essential functions are available, allowing the audio to be perfectly tailored to each space.

The built-in limiters protect the speakers from accidental overload or saturation, ensuring long-term and safe operation of the system. The sound quality is excellent, with a sampling rate of 48 kHz and a frequency response of 20 Hz – 20 kHz, guaranteeing accurate reproduction from deep bass to clear, detailed highs. The extremely low distortion (0.002% @ +4 dB, 1 kHz) ensures accuracy and clarity.

Thanks to its compact design and rack-mounting capability, the MDSP-48 is ideal for both portable applications and permanent installations in auditoriums, clubs, or worship spaces.
