Description

Urisan Urinary Tract - Special Dietary Supplements, 30 capsules

Each tablet contains:

  • American Cranberry Extract (with 20% PAC/proanthocyanidins) - 300 mg
  • D-mannose - 500 mg
  • Echinacea - 10 mg

Ingredients: D-mannose (31%); coating layer (gelatin; Instant DR (sodium alginate, stearic acid, polyethylene glycol, glycerin); glycerin; purified water; sorbitol; colorants: red iron oxide, yellow iron oxide, and Brilliant Blue); dry extract 50:1 from the fruit of American Cranberry (Vaccinium macrocarpon), standardized to 20% PAC/proanthocyanidins; filler: microcrystalline cellulose; anti-caking agent: polyvinylpolypyrrolidone; thickening agent: polyvinylpyrrolidone; dehydrated juice from Echinacea purpurea flowers; anti-caking agents: magnesium salts of fatty acids, colloidal silicon dioxide.

Characteristics of ingredients: Urisan contains extract from the fruit of American Cranberry (Vaccinium macrocarpon), standardized to at least 20% PAC/type A proanthocyanidins (60 mg/tablet), dehydrated juice from Echinacea purpurea, and D-mannose. Vaccinium macrocarpon is a plant characterized by a high concentration of biologically active substances. Among the compounds of American Cranberry are polyphenols (such as flavonoids), anthocyanins, catechins, proanthocyanidins, sugars, polysaccharides, vitamins such as vitamin C, and organic acids. The fruits of Vaccinium macrocarpon contain type A proanthocyanidins, which have undergone numerous pharmacochemical and biological studies and have demonstrated superior effectiveness compared to type B.

Echinacea is one of the most well-known and studied plants. The active compounds in Echinacea include derivatives of caffeic acid (phenolic compounds), alkamides, polysaccharides, and glycoproteins. The highest concentration of caffeic acid derivatives and polysaccharides comes from the pressed juice of Echinacea purpurea. Echinacea purpurea contributes to maintaining the health of the lower urinary tract system and the proper function of the immune system.

D-mannose is a monosaccharide that is absorbed eight times more slowly than glucose and is minimally metabolized in the body (it is not converted into glycogen or stored in the liver). D-mannose does not alter blood glucose levels and does not affect glycemia. 90% of the orally administered amount is excreted unchanged in the urine. D-mannose may have a synergistic effect with American Cranberry extract.

The special presentation form (capsules resistant to gastric acid with enteric coating) ensures the protection of active ingredients from gastric juice, their release in the small intestine, and provides increased product efficacy.

Usage instructions: Adults and children over 10 years old: take 1 tablet twice daily. Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.

Warnings:

  • Dietary supplements do not substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
  • Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
  • Keep out of reach and sight of small children.
  • Consume before the expiration date indicated on the package.
  • The product does not contain ingredients with allergenic potential.
