MacuShield Original+ is a special dietary supplement designed to support eye health, especially the central area of the retina (macula). It contains LMZ3, a patented ingredient that offers an optimal combination of macular carotenoids: lutein, meso-zeaxanthin, and zeaxanthin. These three compounds are naturally present in the macular pigment, where they may help protect the eye from oxidative stress and harmful blue light. Meso-zeaxanthin, the key ingredient, is extracted from marigold flowers (Tagetes erecta) cultivated through a process that enables natural enrichment with the active substance. These pigments may play an important role in maintaining normal vision, especially in older individuals or those exposed to increased risk factors for the eyes.
