Review this product
  • The idea of the story and the plot are nice, but personally I was worn out by the constant alternation between the two characters and the same pattern in the thoughts and feelings, whether it concerned the hatred before or after. For most of the book, the author talks and analyzes the protagonists' thoughts and feelings to a great extent, and somewhere in between there are some dialogues with the development of the story. If it were limited to fewer pages, it would be more enjoyable since the story is good. Yes, it is nice, but it did not captivate me; on the contrary, I found it difficult to finish it.

Description & Specifications

In Kilkis, the city of their childhood and teenage summers, Kyra and Stefanos meet again after twelve years – with hearts burning from unspoken feelings and old wounds.

He: a disillusioned journalist who returns to his mother's family home seeking answers.
She: a dynamic hairdresser raising her sister's child, after her sister has passed away, in the neighboring house.
Between them: a story full of misunderstandings, family secrets, and a kiss that commits the perfect "crime."

Kil-Kiss is not just a play on words; it is the city that guards the wounds of their past and the kiss that may heal them. Kyra and Stefanos try to unravel the tangled thread of their lives. Hatred cannot stand against love, while a kiss—their first—will reveal the beauty of being yourself.

A tender and moving novel about love that is born from wounds and the need to reconcile with the past in order for the future to blossom.

You love "enemies-to-lovers" romances with intense character development and you're looking for a story that will make you feel the adrenaline rising on every page.

Read an excerpt:

“He stood there, in the dim light, and his gaze was sharper than any knife. I knew I shouldn’t be here, that every second I spent next to him was a step closer to my own destruction. But the hatred I felt for him had started to get mixed up with something else, something more dangerous and uncontrollable.

‘Don’t come any closer,’ I whispered, but my voice betrayed me. He took a step forward, closing the distance between us, and I felt his breath on my skin. He was my enemy, the man I wanted to destroy, and yet my heart was pounding wildly for all the wrong reasons.

There was no turning back from this. We had crossed the line and now the only thing left was to see which one of us would burn first in the fire we ourselves had started.”
