Connectors

The SO-239 to SO-239 adapter from PNI, known as PNI T501, is a UHF PL-259 SO-239 female to UHF female RF straight connector.

• Compatibility: Accepts any male PL-259 type connector.
• Losses: Minimal signal attenuation as long as contacts are clean and tight.
• Material: Inner insulation made of Teflon (PTFE), resistant to high temperatures.
• Usage: Mainly used to connect two coaxial cables with plated PL-259 connectors.
• Type: SO-239 (female) on both sides.
• Material: Usually nickel-plated brass for corrosion resistance.
• Ideal for: CB, VHF, and UHF frequencies.

Note: For outdoor use, it is recommended to wrap with self-amalgamating tape for moisture protection.
