Perfect Cut: To completely avoid "chipping" on the visible side of the melamine, set the cutting depth to 2-3mm for a first pass (scoring cut) and then make the full cut. Also, make sure that the vacuum hose is clear, as dust accumulating around the blade can affect the accuracy of the plunge.
