Construction Materials & Upper Design

The upper of the Air Jordan 4 Retro OG is made from high-quality natural leather, ensuring wear resistance and helping the shoe retain its shape. Fabric panels with mesh and a plastic overlay are integrated into the sides and upper part of the vamp, allowing continuous airflow. The mid-top design provides coverage and protection for the ankle joint.

Shock Absorption Technology & Midsole

The midsole is made from durable polyurethane (PU) foam, which provides structural support. The heel features a visible Air-Sole unit that absorbs impact forces while walking, complemented by an additional sealed air unit in the forefoot for efficient energy return.

Stability & Outsole

The lacing system is framed by side panels made from thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU), which stabilise the foot and allow for multiple lacing options. The rubber outsole features deep herringbone grooves, providing multidirectional traction and durability for outdoor use.
