All the essential questions of philosophy remain necessarily timeless. This is because philosophy is either much more advanced than its current context or, conversely, because it relates to what it once was and its origins.
Philosophy always remains a form of knowledge that cannot be adapted to its era; on the contrary, it subjugates its era to its measure. Philosophy is essentially timeless because it belongs to that small subset of things whose fate is never to have direct resonance with their present nor to be allowed to find it.
Where such a thing appears to happen, where philosophy becomes fashionable, it is either not true philosophy or it is misinterpreted and used for everyday purposes according to goals foreign to it.
