The SATA cable is the standard connection for computer drives. Internal hard drives, SSDs, and optical discs are almost exclusively connected via this interface to the main motherboard.
It is a flat SATA 6G cable approximately 30 cm long from InLine, in red color, with two black connectors and locking clips, one straight and the other angular (90 degrees). It supports data transfer speeds of up to 6 Gigabits per second (600 MB/s pure data speed) and is also compatible with SATA II and SATA I.
