FlipToons is a fast-paced deck-building game for 1-4 players. The game begins with a deck of promising characters. Each round involves flipping six of these characters onto your screen to try them out together.
Each character card on your 3x2 screen has different talents. Some are activated as soon as they are flipped, while others interact with each other to earn Fame for your studio. However, not all characters have the necessary on-screen chemistry. Some may not work well together.
After each flip, count the Fame points of your current team and spend them to hire more stars for your production. You can purchase new character cards from the market and add them to your deck. Or, spend some Fame points to fire a card that is not performing well.
If your flip is the first to collect 30+ Fame, you will win the Critic's Choice award (worth extra Fame points) and trigger the end of the game. After this market phase, a Final Flip follows. The player who earns the most Fame points during the Final Flip is declared the winner.
