Description

The GIRO SOURCE INTEGRATED MIPS helmet is an advanced bicycle helmet that offers high levels of safety and comfort during riding. Its construction is made from polycarbonate and additionally reinforced with EPS foam, making it lightweight and highly durable. The rider's safety in case of a fall is ensured by two world-recognized technologies:
  • In-mold – which involves injecting EPS foam into the polycarbonate shell, significantly increasing the protective area inside the helmet, effectively safeguarding sensitive areas of the head.
  • MiPS – a multi-directional impact protection system that prevents individual layers of the helmet from shifting, reducing head exposure during impact.
Combined with an accurate adjustment system, it also provides a better fit for the user. A good helmet is characterized not only by safety but also by user comfort. That’s why the GIRO SOURCE features a new ROC LOC 5 adjustment system, allowing the helmet's position relative to the head to be fine-tuned and reducing strain caused by tilting the body during riding.

The helmet can be comfortably adjusted with one hand, and the new system is lighter than most patented models offered by competitors. The helmet's design also includes space for the antibacterial lining CoolFIT, which, combined with a system of 16 vents, helps reduce sweating of the scalp.
