    The SPF index is a measure of sun protection. For example, if the skin usually starts to turn red after 20 minutes of sun exposure, then using sunscreen with an SPF of 15 will prevent redness 15 times more than the skin's natural defense.

It is really very fluid; once absorbed, after a little while it doesn't leave much greasiness or heaviness, and it is the only tinted one that matches my skin tone. All the others either turn out too dark or too yellow on my skin. It moisturizes nicely and leaves a nice even color. Very good as a makeup base too, and so far it hasn't irritated my eyes.
