The monumental two-volume edition by Metropolitan Meliton of the Mother Church, who has served with selflessness and sacrificial dedication for fifty years, consists of Sermons, Addresses, and Homilies and pays tribute to the selfless offering of the Mother Church of Constantinople in bearing witness to the Orthodox faith worldwide and the timeless cultural heritage of Greek-Orthodox values.

Through the pages of this work, the reader realizes that despite the adversities and historical trials faced by the Mother Church of Constantinople, it continues to pour the waters of piety, nurturing the immaculate Orthodox faith of the Seven Ecumenical Councils and the Patristic tradition, and keeping the flame of Orthodoxy alive among Orthodox faithful around the world.

The edition is introduced by the late Elder Vasileios of Iviron, who passed away before the publication of this work.
