Frying pan made of pure cast iron, OTI, diameter 24 cm, 180453. The cast iron frying pan allows you to cook healthy and delicious meals. It has high thermal capacity, with heat being distributed evenly and steadily to the food for a long period of time. In this way, the food acquires a tasty flavor while maintaining its nutritional value.

The use of cast iron improves over time, as it gradually absorbs fat into its porous surface.

Care and usage instructions for cast iron cookware:
  • Seasoning cast iron cookware: Before first use, wash the cookware in warm water with dish soap, rinse, and dry. Coat the cookware on all sides with a layer of vegetable oil and place it upside down in the oven on a baking tray (preferably lined with aluminum foil to catch any dripping fat) at the highest temperature for one hour. Then switch off the oven and let the cookware cool inside. A protective layer will form that prevents oxidation and food from sticking.
  • Cleaning cast iron cookware: It is recommended to clean the cookware with salt and warm water, using the rough side of a sponge or half a lemon, which acts as a degreaser.
  • Maintenance and storage of cast iron cookware: It is recommended to coat the cookware with vegetable oil before each storage. If the cookware has a lid, do not store it closed to allow it to ventilate.
  • Removing rust: Heat the cookware and scrub it with the rough side of a sponge. If rust remains, soak the cookware in a solution of 50% water and 50% vinegar and then clean again. You can also try removing the rust by scrubbing the cookware with a cut potato. After rust removal, a new seasoning process is necessary.
