The Mavic Deemax DH 29" Boost Disc SRAM XD wheel is a highly advanced model, specifically designed for the most demanding rides. It has been used by Mavic DH team riders during the World Cup, making it ideal for intense downhill descents.

The Mavic Deemax DH 29" Boost Disc SRAM XD wheel is made from an innovative aluminum alloy – Maxtal, which is lighter yet more durable than traditional aluminum. The rim is asymmetric, welded, and 30 millimeters wide, designed to effectively absorb strong shocks and impacts, providing maximum control and confidence in grip on difficult terrains. The shape of the rim facilitates the fitting of standard 2-3 inch DH tires, while the Blackshield dual finishing ensures better rim durability against stones and other trail hazards.

The hub axle and body are made from aluminum. They are designed for 6-bolt disc brake mounting and are compatible with SRAM XD driver bodies. The axle size is 12 x 148 millimeters.

The model features 28 double-butted J-bend spokes, made from processed steel. They offer an ideal balance between strength and performance, which is essential during tough downhill rides. Additionally, the spokes are very easy to service.
