The Mavic Crossmax 27.5” rear wheel is specially designed for cross-country mountain biking. Drawing on years of experience, Mavic has created a wheel that features technologies found in professional XC wheels, but at a more affordable price. One of the main technologies is UST, which allows easy mounting of tubeless-ready tires, offering all related advantages such as improved grip, reduced risk of punctures, smoother ride, and increased control.

The rim is made from Maxtal, Mavic's proprietary aluminum alloy, providing increased strength. Thanks to the welding process and a rim width of 25 mm, the wheel is particularly reliable.

The optimal distribution of forces in the Crossmax wheel is achieved through the Straight Pull spoke system, making it even tighter and providing greater responsiveness during sharp turns. Double-sealed bearing cartridges ensure smooth operation without maintenance for thousands of kilometers.

The wheel is designed for 6-bolt disc brakes. Additionally, the Mavic Crossmax 27.5 comes with a rim tape installed for protection.
