The Mavic Deemax DH 29" Disc SRAM XD wheel is an advanced model, specially designed to tackle the most demanding trails. It is used by Mavic DH team riders in the World Cup and is ideal for downhill rides.

The wheel is constructed from an innovative aluminum alloy – Maxtal, Mavic's initial material, which is lighter yet more durable than traditional aluminum. The rim of the Mavic Deemax DH 29" Disc SRAM XD is asymmetrical, welded, and has a width of 30 mm, designed to effectively absorb strong shocks and vibrations, providing maximum control and confidence on rough surfaces.

Additionally, the rim shape facilitates the installation of standard 2-3 inch DH tires, and the Blackshield dual surface treatment offers better resistance to impacts from stones and other trail hazards. The hub shell and axle are made from aluminum. It is compatible with a 6-bolt disc brake mount and SRAM XD driver bodies. The axle size is 12 x 157 mm.

The model features 28 double-butted J-bend spokes made from steel alloy, providing the ideal balance between durability and performance, which is invaluable during tough descents. Furthermore, the spokes are very easy to repair.
