The Dartmoor Reel Pro Singlespeed v.2 rear hub is an advanced MTB component designed for dirt/street bikes with a single-speed drivetrain. Its main advantages include its exceptionally low weight, ranging from 390 to 405 grams. It is mounted with a standard QR classic form with a spacing of 10x135 or 9x135. Additionally, it fits frames with horizontal dropouts. It features holes for 32 spokes and a 6-bolt disc brake mount.

The body of the axle is made from standard forged aluminum AL 6061-T6 and is based on a 15mm aluminum shaft AL 7075-T6, secured with Cr-Mo 3/8" bolts. The axle is installed in four high-quality sealed bearings, with specially selected synthetic grease from Mobil and LLU full-contact seals featuring the Dartmoor logo. The outer seals are protected by pressed caps made from durable AL 7075-T6, ensuring protection from mud and dust.

On the disc brake side, there are two 6902 bearings, while on the freehub side, there is a 15267 bearing and a 6902 bearing. The AL6061-T6 is an aluminum alloy that has undergone heat treatment, characterized by high corrosion resistance and good mechanical properties, making it ideal for demanding mountain biking conditions.

Aluminum anodizing is an electrochemical process that creates an oxide layer on the surface, providing greater hardness and corrosion resistance. This final layer is almost invisible, irregular, and porous, allowing effective painting and sealing. The result is a very smooth and shiny component.

The AL7075-T6, known as aerospace aluminum, is also an alloy that offers high mechanical properties and excellent machinability, making it ideal for heavily loaded structural parts such as the axle flanges.
