Description

The Akyga® AK-SC-E13 Type 2 socket is an accessory for self-replacement or installation on electric vehicle charging cables. Ideal for repairing a damaged connector on an adapter or for creating a custom EV charging cable. The socket features a male Type 2 (IEC62196-2) connector, also known as Mennekes, which is one of the most popular connector types on the European electric vehicle market. The male connector is used to connect the cable on the EVSE charging station side.

The Akyga Type 2 socket is distinguished by high quality and durability, ensuring long-term and reliable use. In addition, the Type 2 connector pins are coated with a layer of silver, increasing <> and allowing a current load of up to 32 A, suitable for single-phase systems.
