“In the modern era we live in, where everything has been commodified and engagement with football often serves as a social springboard and a means to serve professional interests, there are still people of all ages who, just hearing the word PAOK, become emotional. I am one of those people.”

The book does not aim to be a historical record of the club. The author himself clarifies his intention from the outset:

“This book is not autobiographical... I am not a historian. I do not write the history of PAOK. However, I feel myself a member of its vast family, and for this reason, I decided to present my own journey.”

A journey that begins with childhood memories and reaches the more mature thoughts about football and a person's relationship with their favorite team.

As he himself notes: “The incredible and touching moments I have experienced with PAOK over the years pass through my memory like a movie – and I record them with my heart and soul.”
