The Keychron J5 wireless mechanical keyboard combines a full-size layout with Bluetooth 5.2 and 2.4 GHz connectivity. Its 2.4 GHz wireless connection and wired mode offer a 1000 Hz polling rate. With QMK and the Keychron Launcher app, keys can be programmed for remapping, macros, and shortcuts.

LKP mode prioritizes the most recently pressed key, making quick in-game direction changes easier. The double-shot PBT keycaps are oil-resistant, and their legends won’t fade. The RGB backlighting features more than 22 settings, with adjustable hue, saturation, brightness, and effect speed. The construction includes IXPE, PET, and EPDM sound-dampening foam layers.

    Quite high-quality keys. Nice feeling when pressing, with a large surface on the keys, bought on purpose because of my thick fingers. I use it with a cable, I have no experience with wireless connectivity. I highly recommend it for those who have large fingers. One star less because the letters on the keys are not illuminated, and it has white keys—I would have preferred black ones.
