Rit Dyemore Liquid Dye in Royal Purple is intended for fabrics containing more than 35% synthetic fibers, such as polyester, acrylic, acetate, nylon, and spandex. It can also be used on certain plastics and on skateboard, freestyle scooter, and roller wheels.

The dye can be used for ice dye, dip dye, marbling, shibori, and tie-dye techniques. For blends containing cotton, linen, rayon, or ramie, apply Rit ColorStay Fixative after dyeing and before washing to enhance the color and reduce fading.
