The nightmare continues in Mary Skelter 2!

In this first-person dungeon crawler, players take on the roles of fairy tale-inspired heroes known as Blood Maidens, each with specific and deeply customizable classes.

Combat blends power and madness in turn-based battles with a blood-powered transformation system, while players must escape from a living prison as the invincible Nightmares pursue them in real time.

This game also includes the first entry in the series, Mary Skelter Nightmares.

An important factor in dungeon exploration is the unique creature called Nightmare that roams its prison.

Initially, Nightmares cannot be killed; they can only be repelled by dealing damage during battle or avoided by fleeing. Only after the core of a prison is destroyed can someone truly fight a Nightmare.

An annoying issue is that there are times when the story or an encounter with a Nightmare prevents the ability to save, heal, or exit the dungeon.

It's important to save regularly and whenever possible, as there is no autosave or quick save option.

The idea of being chased and needing to escape from Nightmares early in the game is reminiscent of enemies in the Etrian Odyssey games, and their strange design as well as their limited vulnerability serve as interesting twists.
