The car ISO connector allows the connection of radios (equipped with ISO connectors) to the factory car audio system. In many cases, the connector installed in the car is not ISO type, which creates a problem when connecting aftermarket radios. A solution to this problem is either to modify the wiring in the radio and car installation or to use an adapter, which is plug and play.
The installation of the adapter includes two steps:
- Connecting the adapter to the car installation
- Connecting the adapter to the radio installation
