The board game High Frontier 4 All: Module 5 – Economy is an economic expansion for 2–6 players, in which they buy and sell shares in aerospace companies. Share values are tracked on a stock market board and are influenced by the players, who act as the companies’ customers. The more customers a service has, the more capital the corresponding company can raise, increasing the value of its shares.
The player with the most shares in a company becomes its president and decides whether dividends will be distributed or the funds will be reinvested in the company’s capital, making its services cheaper. Players choose when to buy shares they believe will increase in value and when to sell them to free up their money for other investments. Shares retain their value after an Aqua crash.
