The Proterra Light i27 wheel is designed for daily cross-country or trail riding. The internal width of the 27mm rim allows for the use of wide tires ranging from 2.30" to 2.50". With the option to install a tubeless system, lower tire pressures can be achieved, and weight can be reduced by removing the heavy inner tube. The open profile of the cavity also reduces weight, allowing you to enjoy the benefits of a lightweight wheel, such as better acceleration and agility.

• FREQUENCY HUBS: High-quality wheels with a 6-pawl low-friction design that engages every 5°. Frequency hubs are equipped with oversized seals to improve weather resistance.
• SOLID STRIP: WTB wheels feature a Solid Strip (red), a durable nylon tape placed between the rim and the tubeless tape (yellow) to prevent pressure from the tape pressing into the spoke holes, creating a smooth connection between the tire and the rim. The smooth surface facilitates tire installation and prevents air leaks.
