The Proterra Light i27 wheel is designed for everyday cross-country training or trail riding. The internal width of the 27mm rim allows for the use of wide tires from 2.30" to 2.50" in diagonal. With the option to install a tubeless system, it is possible to further reduce tire pressure and decrease weight by eliminating the heavy inner tube. The open profile of the rim also reduces weight, offering the benefits of a lightweight wheel such as better acceleration and maneuverability.
